Echos of nature.

This shibori tied, twice dipped silk looks similar to a photo that NASA took of a volcano range in South America.
Weld and Indigo make for an emerald green and Lapis Lazuli blue scarf.

This false-color image of Colombia's Galeras Volcano, was acquired by UAVSAR on March 13, 2013. A highly active volcano, Galeras features a breached caldera and an active cone that produces numerous small to moderate explosive eruptions. It is located immediately west of the city of Pasto.

Mellow Yellow.

I'm just mad about weld. This citrussy, vivid yellow works surprisingly well with taupe from chestnut. Of course, the combination of weld extract and indigo is striking- but this is a tad more unexpected. Looks as though I'm not the only one with this idea... Michelle from Project Runway just won the Lord & Taylor challenge with her citrine and taupe mini dress.
